Michael Jordan

Jessica Stratton - Head Coach of Mirror Images

(Open Juvenile, Pre Juvenile, Adult, Open Collegiate, Open Masters)

Jessica has been working with Mirror Images since August 2008. With a great support team, Jessica and the MI leadership group have grown MI from two teams to eight synchronized skating teams as of the 2021-2022 season. Under Jessica's leadership, the MI teams have medaled at the Eastern Sectional Synchronized Skating Championships in 2008, 2012, 2013 (OJ-1st), 2014, 2017, 2018, and 2019 (OC-2nd, OM-1st). The teams have also medaled at the Empire State Games, Cape Cod Classic, Dr. Porter Classic, and Boston Classic over the years. In addition to her time as an individual skater, when she accomplished Gold MITF, Junior Freestyle, and Pre-Gold Dance; Jessica has a strong background in off-ice dance and theater having been a dancer since the age of 3 studying through college. Jessica has a Bachelors in Communication from SUNY Geneseo and works for a non-profit school in the Rochester area. When not on the ice she can be found paddle boarding, golfing,  or catching the latest musical.

Andrea Auer

(Pre Juvenile, Open Masters, and Open Collegiate)

Andrea has been coaching for the Mirror Images teams since 2019. She has been skating for 19 years with 17 years of synch experience at various levels. She has been a part of the Thomas Creek FSC coaching staff since 2017. Andrea has her M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Nazareth College. She formerly was the team manager and a member of the Mirror Images collegiate team since 2015 and has managed the Adult team since its formation in 2019. During her time as an individual skater, Andrea is a gold medalist in Moves in the Field, Ice Dance, Solo Free Dance, and Canadian Ice Dance, and has completed all of her international ice dances. Andrea loves spending time with her pets and hanging out on the water.

Emily Papa

(Aspire Purple)

Emily is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and dual minors in Geography & Museum Studies. While at UD, she was a member of their Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team during her freshmen year. Prior to skating with UD, Emily skated with the Mirror Images and Genesee Express teams in Rochester. Emily currently lives in Fairport and recently completed her Masters degree in Social Work. When not on the ice she works for ___ or spends time with her fur babies.

Isabelle Lombardi

(Open Juvenile, Aspire Purple)

Isabelle is Mirror Images newest coach and we are thrilled to welcome her to the team! As a graduate of the St. John Fisher School of Nursing program, Isabelle was also a college athlete as a member of the School's Track & Field Team. Since graduating she has worked steadily in Rochester as she pursues her Masters degree and re-found her love of skating as a member of the Mirror Images Adult team. Isabelle previously skated in high school with the Albany based team, Achilles Edge. Isabelle loves spending time with her dog and enjoys getting out and around Rochester.

Challen Law

(Pre Juvenile)

Challen is thrilled to join the Mirror Images coaching staff after years of working with many of the individual skaters on club ice time. She is a coach with the Thomas Creek FSC and Genesee FSC and is the Director of Figure Skating at the Lakeshore Ice Arena. Challen has extensive experience as a competitive skater in singles, pairs, and dance. When not at the rink, she is typically cheering her son on at various sporting events.

Molly Bushnell

(Aspire Silver)

Molly is one of Mirror Images newest coaches and we are thrilled to welcome her to the team! As a graduate of the University of Rochester, Molly studied ___ and currently works at Strong Hospital as a nurse in the ___. Molly has a strong background in Theater on Ice, Ice Dance and Skating Skills. She is also a coach with the Thomas Creek FSC. Molly joined the MI Adult team and has previous synch experience with the Skating Club of CNY. Molly is a Webster resident and enjoys getting around town and enjoying time with her family.

Hannah Osborn

(Aspire Silver)

Hannah is a current student of Nazareth University and has been a long time member of Mirror Images synch program recently joined the coaching staff.  She has skated on the Novice, Intermediate, Open Collegiate and the Adult teams over the years. She is a strong individual skater with Novice Free, Gold Skating Skills and Gold Dance and she currently works for the Rochester Ice Center Learn to Skate program as an instructor. Hannah has a love for life and an enthusiasm for learning and teaching. She is super excited to work with our newest skaters and share her love of synch.

Mirror Images is run by an amazing group of parent volunteers who fulfill a variety of roles and keep the program running smoothly.  The parents are cheerleaders who work behind the scenes to organize clothing, register us for events, schedule ice, and provide communication between teams.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the operating committee, please reach out and email!  We are always looking for new energetic and creative people to join our team!

Emily (Brown) Hanley - (Off Ice Dance) 

Emily holds a BA in Dance from SUNY Potsdam where she received the Service in Dance and Dance Performance awards. Emily has attended and performed at Bates Dance Festival, American College Dance Festival, and The West African Cultural Exchange in Dagbamete, Ghana; additionally Emily has completed Autism Movement Therapy Certification. Emily has choreographed musicals with Geneva Theatre Guild, Marcus Whitman School, and The Neighborhood Acting Company. Emily is an contributor to The Arts Experience Festival at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and volunteers at the Strong National Museum of Play. She lives in Brighton with her husband and golden retriever.

Next Level Strength & Conditioning

NLS&C has been working with the Mirror Images teams. They work with skaters on their endurance, physical strength, stamina and power. The trainers have developed specific plans for the skaters to bring them to their peak performance. 

Butterfly Kids YOGA 

Butterfly Kids YOGA works with our skaters on their mindfulness, flexibility and core strength. Sessions are open to other area figure skaters as well.
